Position : We are seeking an exceptional Assay Development Scientist to lead the development of cellular and Immunology assays through execution and data analysis workflows.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and develop cellular and immunology assays for protein-protein interactions, receptor-ligand binding and inhibitions, antibody binding and inhibitions.
- Lead the design of experiments; driving execution, data analysis, and presentation of outcomes, making recommendations based on data.
- Design, plan, and execute experiments within the reagent and assay kit development process that involve commercialization of benchtop methods and techniques.
- Develop cell-based assays and functional binding assays.
- Optimize and troubleshoot existing assays.
- Lead the design, development, and execution of test procedures for verification and validation studies as well as standardizing and establishing quality control assays.
- Effectively communicate experimental results and strategies in presentations and written reports.
- Write SOPs and protocols in support of new product release.
- Work across functional groups to facilitate new product development.
- Maintain scientific knowledge and critically evaluate scientific literature and industry trends in order to contribute to new product development.
- Write abstracts and present posters at scientific meetings.
- Other projects or responsibilities may be required.
Qualifications :
- PhD in Immunology or a related field with at least 3+ years of relevant laboratory experience.
- 3+ years of experience in assay development.
- Experience with flow cytometry, Immunohistochemistry, ELISA, biolayer interferometry, and similar technologies.
- Experience in product / process development and / or NPI (New Product Introduction) with experience commercializing products in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in cell-based assay development and functional binding assay development.
- Experience with assay kit development is preferred.
