POSITION DETAILS :
- Responsible for managing Civil / Structural group (Designers and Engineers)
- Manage multiple, simultaneous projects in multiple business lines
- Participates in engineering department initiatives, meetings, project reviews and client feedback sessions
- Perform technical studies and calculations
- Review and approve engineering and project cost estimates
- Review and approve equipment selections
- Oversight of quality of design; issue engineering and construction packages
- Participate in business development and client relationships
- Oversight of QCQA of work product
- Oversight of records management
- Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and communicate effectively
- Maintains safety in design and work environment
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS : Civil Engineering
Civil Engineering
PE. License (Texas or Louisiana) is highly valued for this position
10+) years’ experience in Civil / Structural Engineering
- Experience inclusive of Supervisory position(s) managing team of designers and engineers
- Previous responsibility of budget and resource management
- Experience inclusive of development of bids, proposals, engineering design from concept-to-construction
- Field, in-facility experience
- Experience in supporting projects in Refinery, Petrochemical and Midstream
