Sales Development Representative

What does a successful Sales Development Representative do at Fiserv?

  • Represent SMB products and services, using comprehensive knowledge as well as consumer research to explain how our solutions meet customer needs
  • Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and finding potential new sales opportunities within an existing customer base
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage sales executives in next steps
  • Identify best practices for refining the company’s lead-generation playbook

What you will do :

  • Utilize Salesforce, cold calls, text and email to generate new sales opportunities
  • Build initial rapport with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities
  • Identify the needs of prospects, and suggest appropriate products or services

  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and sales executives
  • Report to sales manager with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results

What you will need to have :

  • One or more years of experience in sales, with a track record of exceeding lead targets
  • Strong communication skills via phone and email
  • Proven, creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
  • Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization

What would be great to have :

  • Experience as a sales development representative, with a track record of achieving sales quotas
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or other CRM software
  • Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools
  • Experience with digital marketing tools and techniques.

This role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Maryland, New York, Nevada, Rhode Island or Washington.
