Essential Functions :

  • Manage the delivery of care to Assisted Living Residents in a compassionate and timely manner under the direction of the Nurse Team Leader or designee.
  • Dispense routine daily medications, both prescription and non-prescription.
  • Observe Residents and report / document changes in their condition.
  • Sign medication records and re-order medications according to policy and procedure.
  • Provide first aid in emergency situations and report the condition to the Nurse Team Leader and / or physician; complete incident reports as needed.
  • Assist Residents with activities of daily living (ADL) and encourage appropriate self-care, utilizing the concept of restorative nursing.
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures related to Infection Control and safety regulations.
  • Leads by example, maintaining a professional work relationship with team members, Residents, Clients, Members, Patients, and family members.

Qualifications :

  • NJ State Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification.
  • Seasonal flu vaccine required.
  • Knowledge of medical and pharmacological terminology.
  • Strong clinical skills.
  • Commitment to person-centered care.
  • Excellent communication and critical thinking.
  • Interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Sensitivity to dementia care needs.
  • Experience in caregiving, hospice care, or memory care is preferred.

$25 - $25 an hour

Full Time

3 pm - 11 pm or 11 pm - 7 am

Monday - Friday with mandatory rotating weekends
