Product Manager
Location : Greater Chicago, IL area or Peoria, IL
The Product Manager role entails a comprehensive responsibility for various stages of product lifecycle management including research, development, planning, implementation, marketing, tracking, and reporting.
This position involves coordinating across departments to launch new products and optimize the current product lineup in line with market competition.
Collaboration with Engineering, Sales, and Offer Management is crucial to ensure product alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and outline product specifications.
- Create and manage a product roadmap for new product introductions.
- Facilitate cross-departmental communication to ensure cohesive product knowledge and alignment.
- Position products effectively within the market.
- Maintain comprehensive product documentation for internal use.
- Act as the primary contact for resolving product capability inquiries.
- Conduct thorough market competition analysis.
- Develop and manage sales tools and marketing collateral.
- Train and brief the sales team on new product launches and updates to existing products.
- Monitor product performance and report on product metrics, making adjustments to improve underperforming products.
- Participate in industry trade shows to stay informed about market trends and competitor activities.
Qualifications and Skills
- Over 5 years of experience in the Telecommunications sector.
- Strong experience in Broadband.
- Proven track record in defining and launching successful products.
- Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional teamwork abilities.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
