Job Title : Assistant Structural Designer
Job Description :
Join our dynamic team as an Assistant Structural Designer! You'll be involved in various stages of planning, site evaluations, analytical designs, report preparation, specifications, and proposal and construction documentation.
You'll work on a diverse portfolio of projects and clients, assisting in creating detailed construction drawings for steel and reinforced concrete structures
Job Responsibilities :
- Assist in preparing detailed construction drawings using structural specifications, engineering calculations, sketches, and design information
- Contribute to a full range of drawing production work, including problem analysis, design layout, and calculations on non-routine assignments
- Participate in design projects for industrial, manufacturing, and other clients, ranging from facility modifications to new facilities
- Support engineers and designers in performing 2D drafting and 3D modeling tasks
- Assist with initial rough designs or sketches and redlines or mark-ups on ongoing projects
- Help organize and maintain all revisions of project drawings, plot files, and project-related information in a well-structured manner
Skills Required :
- Bachelor Degree in drafting technology or related field and 2 years related experience, or Associate Degree and 3 years related experience, or 4 years progressive detailing and design experience
- Basic understanding of design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and Excel.
- Basic knowledge in design, calculations, and design systems
- Ability to work collaboratively with others (Project Managers, Engineers, and Designers) in a multi-discipline project team environment
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
