Requirements

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager with a strong background in Equity Cash Trading and Allocation.

The ideal candidate should have familiarity with Equity Swap Trading, Block Trading, Allocation, and Matching processes.

This role requires excellent project management skills, a quick learning attitude, and the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders, including Desk Heads, Senior Management, Compliance, Technology Leads, Developers, and QA teams.

Key Attributes :

• Equity Cash Trading & Allocation : A strong understanding of equity cash trading and allocation processes is required.
• Equity Swap Trading & Allocation : Experience or familiarity with equity swap trading and allocation is preferred.
• Block, Allocation, and Matching : Experience with block trading, allocation, and trade matching is a strong plus.
• Quick Learner & Self-Starter : Ability to quickly understand new concepts and products, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Abstract Thinking : Comfort with working from high-level concepts and abstract ideas to manage trading products and systems.
• Continuous Improvement : Ability to constantly learn and enhance product knowledge and project processes.
• Project Management Expertise : Proven track record of managing projects, tracking dependencies, scoping, and meeting deadlines within budget constraints.
• Ownership & Problem-Solving : Ability to take ownership of tasks and proactively resolve issues to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities :

• Meeting Management : Draft meeting minutes and ensure proper follow-up on action items.
• Project Planning & Management : Create and maintain comprehensive project plans. Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Budget Management : Oversee project budgets and perform cost-benefit analyses for new projects.
• Project Documentation : Document all phases of the project lifecycle, including drafting Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and Technical Requirements Documents (TRDs).
• Jira Dashboard Management : Create and maintain Jira dashboards to track project progress and issues.
• Project Reporting : Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders, including Senior Management and Desk Heads.
• Process Flow Documentation : Create detailed process flows and system diagrams using tools like Microsoft Visio.
• Cross-Department Collaboration : Interact with Desk Heads, Senior Management, Compliance teams, and Technology Leads to ensure alignment on project objectives and requirements.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience with Fixed Income Trading : An understanding of fixed income trading would be an added advantage, though not mandatory.

Skills & Tools :

• Strong familiarity with equity cash and swap trading processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Visio for diagram creation and project documentation.
• Experience with Jira for project tracking and reporting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in drafting BRDs, TRDs, and presenting project status to senior stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills to manage multiple teams and stakeholders.
