Job Summary :
Reporting to senior leadership, the VP of Business Intelligence & Analytics will lead a team focused on optimizing data, visualizing insights, and supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization.
This role will leverage advanced analytics to shape operational strategies, unify diverse data sources, and foster a data-centric culture.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and develop a team of analysts to deliver actionable insights that enhance business strategy and outcomes.
- Use data analysis to influence operational decisions across the organization.
- Design and implement dynamic dashboards and scorecards for real-time decision-making.
- Strategically position analysts to effectively support data-driven decisions across various business units and functions.
- Promote a culture of analytical thinking and data-driven operations within the organization.
- Collaborate with leaders to improve data definitions, standardize data sources, and unify data from multiple platforms.
- Apply quantitative skills in statistics, modeling, and research to address key business challenges.
- Work with decision-makers to select and manage tools and vendors that align with organizational goals, including enabling self-service analytics.
Qualifications :
- 7+ years of experience in analytical roles, with 3+ years in leadership positions.
- Strong understanding of business drivers and ability to use data to drive operational improvements.
- Proficiency in relevant technologies and tools such as SQL, R, Python, Tableau, and PowerBI.
- Proven ability to hire, develop, and retain high-performing analytical teams.
- Alignment with the organization's core values.
- Willingness to work onsite in Dallas with occasional travel ( 10%).
- Experience with vendor selection, contract negotiation, and system implementation is preferred.
- Advanced degrees in relevant fields such as data science, information systems, or statistics are a plus.
