SUMMARY
Responsible for making sure dishes, pots, and pans are cleaned on daily basis. Must be able to load and unload a dish washing machine.
Certain pots, pan, utensils must be loaded correctly, which helps the machine operate effectively and efficiently. Keep the dishroom and equipment clean and organized.
Assists with cleaning other areas of the restaurant as requested.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for setting up three compartment sink with proper chemicals and clean dishes, pots, pans, containers
- Responsible for ensuring proper setup and proper chemicals are available for the Washer
- Sweep and mop the floor of the kitchen, storage rooms, service line and dining room.
- Clean walls of kitchen area
- Wash dirty containers and swap them out for clean one
- Clean and empty the BOH trash cans
- Keep FOH trash receptacles tidy, empty trash when appropriate. May be responsible for paying attention to back storage areas, as well as the coolers and freezers.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- ne year related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have a strong work ethic.
- Must be able to speak, read, and understand the English language.
- Must be able to occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 lbs.
