Automotive Sales Associate

Job Summary :

First State Auto Group is seeking a dynamic and motivated Automotive Sales Associate to join our team in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

This is a full-time, individual contributor role in the fast-paced and exciting auto industry.

As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for driving sales and providing exceptional customer service to our valued clients.

Compensation & Benefits :

This position offers a competitive salary, with a potential compensation of $60,000 to $150,000 per year based on experience and performance.

Responsibilities :

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Educate customers on vehicles and their features, as well as available financing and warranty options
• Work with customers to understand their needs and budget, and recommend appropriate vehicles to meet their requirements
• Conduct test drives and demonstrate vehicle features to potential buyers
• Negotiate and close sales, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, new vehicle models, and competitive offerings
• Meet and exceed monthly sales targets and goals
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient sales process

Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
• Proven sales experience, preferably in the automotive industry
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
• Strong knowledge of vehicles and their features
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment
• Proficient in basic computer skills
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
