You are leading, building, and developing our expanding Texas sales team, bringing our award-winning brand, STINGER, to our network of channel partners, installers, and end consumers.

Aligned with the STINGER brand's unique purpose, your team will execute its assignment of driving brand awareness and the adoption of our innovative products to support our aggressive geographic, channel, and company growth plans.

Your assignment

You will drive revenue and margin growth of the STINGER brand through Roofing Wholesalers and roofing contractors across Texas through strong leadership of your sales team.

As a leader, you will be growth-minded, developing a deep knowledge of your team, their customers, competitors, and our products.

You will also drive increased sales through your own selling skills and relationships with leaders within current and prospective customers.

This is not an assignment for a first timer. We are seeking a seasoned leader who will challenge our sales leadership, our sales team, and our customers.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Effectively hire, train, onboard, develop and lead a strong team of salespeople that deliver sales growth.
  • Be a role model for the team by driving sales growth through strong customer knowledge and relationships, in-depth product and competitor knowledge, and selling skills.
  • Deliver on promises to your team and their customers.
  • Inspire dealers, distributors, and contractors to do business with us.
  • Build strong partnerships with the Product Management, Marketing, and Inside Sales teams to collaboratively meet customer needs and increase market share.
  • Cultivate the company’s culture and expectations in their team.
  • Demonstrate a passion for our brands It will be impossible to achieve this assignment without getting the endearing value of our brands.
  • In partnership with Regional Vice President, build out multi-year sales budget and go-to-market strategy.
  • Ensure their team has the tools and support needed and hold them accountable to strong performance.

  • Overall sales growth across Texas.
  • Sales growth from existing customers AND new customers.
  • Strong performing team within National Nail culture expectations.

Qualifications :

  • 5-15 years of experience in the building materials industry required, preferably with a focus on roofing.
  • Proven experience as a leader of a sales team.
  • Be an outstanding person and teammate, elevating those around you.
  • Ability to travel 60-70%.
