What will you be doing?

• Income tax returns : Responsible for the completion of the U.S. Federal income tax return, including U.S. reporting of foreign activity
• Review new tax laws : Monitor new or proposed US, state or international tax laws, changes implemented by the IRS or courts and any operational or fact changes that affect our filing positions and coordinate approach with VP-Taxes accordingly
• Research technical tax issues : Make note of complex technical tax issues, analyze and report to support management decision-making
• Collaborate internally : Partner with Financial Accounting departments to accumulate information to prepare all income tax and related filings, including estimates and extensions
• Formulate company policy regarding 1099 information : Report and partner with AP, Master Data, Real Estate and IT departments to enact policies; assures timely filing of 1099s with the IRS
• Manage income tax audits : Oversee all U.S. Federal, state and local Income Tax audits, including formulation of response to audit information document requests and negotiation of favorable outcome
• Manage income tax calendar : Responsible for the planning and management of the corporate income tax calendars to assure all estimates, extensions, and filings, including payments, are made in an accurate and timely manner
