The Program Manager, Global Data Center (GDC) Transformation is a mid-senior leadership role reporting directly to the Director, GDC Transformation.

They will assist in the structuring and execution of complex functional development throughout four regions. This role will Program Manage GDC integration and transformation efforts to unify operations across America (AMER), Asia-Pacific (APAC), Europe / Middle East and Africa (EMEA), and India for specific organizational functions.

They will help bring strategy to execution through the delivery of functional portfolio efforts that assist in the achievement of functional Objectives and

Key Results.

The Program Manager, Global Data Center (GDC) Transformation will execute and support operational rhythm of business, cross-functional alignment, and set the business agenda for the Transformation Management Office (TMO).

The position will routinely interact with the VP of Transformation and functional leads and support interactions with GDC regional heads and executive leadership across NTT and its global affiliates.

What you'll be doing

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Engages with select GDC global functional leaders and cross-functional stakeholders through the structuring, execution, and management of functional portfolio of transformational efforts.

Support the rhythm of business for the Transformation Management Office drives requirements and expectations of reporting and interaction with functions.

Creates briefings or leverages technology to report functional status, gaps, risks, assumptions, issues, decisions, and dependencies.

Effectively manages and reports on scope, schedule, and budget while maintaining perspective on value management and creation.

Partners with select functions to capture, manage, and deliver short-term improvement and long-term value.

Creates and cascades reporting and communication into the organization, across dependent functions, and up to the ELT.

Creates, manages, and updates respective function’s objectives, key results, and performance metrics to measure strategic alignment and the effectiveness of transformation efforts in the short-, mid- and long-term.

Responds to ad-hoc, time-sensitive requests for deliverables within the Global GDC executive and cross-functional audiences.

Must have unquestionable integrity and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

Proficient with computers to include the utilization of Microsoft programs such as Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook.

Manages stress and / or fast pace effectively.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Demonstrated experience in problem solving, strategic mindset, and critical thinking skills, preferably from a top consulting firm or strategy organization.

Excellent executive presence and team builder who drives accountability and inspires calls to action; remains resilient and positive when facing challenges.

Strong Project and Program Portfolio Management skills.

Comfortable working with large data sets and tools to synthesize strategic themes.

Experience working with tier-one data centers or hyperscale providers highly valued, but not mandatory.

Multi-cultural and multi-lingual background valued but not mandatory.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

MBA, Master’s degree, or equivalent experience.

5+ years experience in managing transformational initiatives, change, and business integration within large, complex, and high growth organizations, preferably globally across two distinct regions (minimum).

3+ years in architecting, refining, and structuring portfolios and / or large complex programs through the use of industry standard technologies and enabling through BI and analytics.

WORK CONDITIONS & OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Extensive daily computer use.

This role is expected to be remote with an occasional need to be on-site in a shared space. This position requires reliable internet connection and electricity.

Willingness and ability to travel approximately 33% domestically and internationally.
