Job Description
Chase is seeking a highly effective and innovative Vice President to join our product team in supporting our Payments Experiences and Services (PxS) team at Chase, which processes all of our Consumer & Small Business Payments.
In this role, you will lead the strategy and backlog of the critical platform and partner initiatives with other Area Product Groups within Payments in support of modernizing our platform and delivering leading payment capabilities for customers.
As a member of the PxS team, you'll be part of a group that launches industry-first payment capabilities for our customers.

Responsibilities include :
- Partner with PxS technology team, design and other product managers in supporting the cross- line of business product strategy and vision.
- Develop solutions for improvements and enhancements to deliver operational excellence.
- Manage and refine product backlog initiatives to drive value in accordance with Payments and stakeholder priorities
- Execute business and technical requirement analysis and definition, creates initiatives, epics and Jira management
- Partner with engineering leads to oversee development teams, ensuring proper sprint planning and proper utilization of development cycles
- Build and manage key relationships and communications with stakeholders
- Act as a strategic partner to product managers across the team
- Help to drive agility, consistency, and a sound controls environment, including good Jira hygiene
- Ensures commitment for critical dependencies - including facilitating elaboration sessions, helping to secure resources, ensuring sprint alignment, etc
- Identify, coordinate and sequence dependencies on other product teams
- Helps remove impediments for the teams
- Engages with and validates features to ensure client / customer and user problems are solved - including partnering with technology, design, and analytics as needed
- Respects, values and promotes diversity and inclusion
- Analytics to define new opportunities and examine performance
- Assist in coordinating production issues and feedback resolution
- Assist in audit and controls needs
- Acts as a strategic partner to product managers across the Payments organization
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills :
- Mimum of 7 years of digital product, financial services, technology or project management or relevant experience
- Ability to map business processes and identify requirements from those processes
- Experience in defining and building out product backlogs, roadmap and business models
- Experience in Technology, knowledgeable with payments architecture and digital space
- Structured thinker, effective communicator with excellent written communication skills
- Commitment and self-motivation suitable to a start-up team
- Bachelor's degree required
- Demonstrable experience working in payments, banking, online and mobile platforms
- Strong written and verbal communicator with excellent reasoning, organizational and presentation skills.
- Proficient with the MS Office tools, JIRA and Confluence
