Position Purpose
We are looking to add another veterinarian to our 2-doctor team! We are a well-established small animal practice that opened our doors in 1957.
We stay on top of the latest advances in veterinary technology, providing industry leading care in preventative medicine, surgery, dentistry, and diagnostic care.
Our doctors are supported by a dedicated and cross-trained support staff consisting of 1 LVT, 4 technicians, and 3 CSRs. We continue to receive new clients weekly, which would provide a new DVM with a steady and expansive caseload.
Our clients are incredibly loyal, with a large portion having come to us for decades.
We welcome DVMs of all experience levels and would gladly provide individualized mentorship to any new graduates!
Essential Responsibilities
- Examine and treat companion animals to detect and determine the nature of disease or injuries.
- Operate diagnostic equipment and collect diagnostic samples as well as interpret results.
- Advise pet owners on preventative care and treatment options.
- Perform surgery and prescribe medication as needed.
- Provide counsel around pet end of life care.
- Maintain patients' medical records.
- Ensures compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statues, policies, and procedures.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited AVMA institution.
- Appropriate state licensure.
- Eligibility to obtain DEA / BNDD.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrates professional and courteous presentation consistently with staff and clients.
- Ability to lift patients and carry equipment up to 25 pounds; ability to lift patients or carry equipment over 25 pounds with assistance.

Pay Range
USD $100,000.00 - USD $130,000.00 / Yr.
