Compensation : ?$30-40 / hour + overtime pay as needed. Positions are 3-24 month contract-to-hire opportunities with high possibility to convert to FTE.
Location : ?This position is onsite in Everett, Washington.

Key Responsibilities :
- Operate CNC lathe and milling machines proficiently.
- Set up and utilize manual machining equipment, hand tools, and measuring instruments.
- Demonstrate proficiency in reading and interpreting measurements from micrometers, vernier calipers, and other gauges.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks on equipment as necessary.
- Apply mathematical knowledge to calculate dimensions and tolerances.
- Lay out and mark metal stock to indicate cutting placements.
- Secure fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, and materials onto machines.
- Independently set up and run various mills and lathes.
- Monitor machine feed and speed during machining operations.
- Inspect completed parts to detect defects and ensure compliance with specifications.
Qualifications and Experience :
- Setup / Prove out experience with multi axis live tooling lathes
- Work well as a team as well as independently to setup machining through aligning and securing holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials
- Proficient in setting up and operating all standard inspection equipment
- Understands standard machining practices such as speeds, feeds, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut, etc.
- Reads, understands and interprets engineering and manufacturing drawings. Strong working knowledge of GD&T
- Working command of the English language and be able to communicate orally and in writing (basic oral instructions, simple written memos and instructions).
- A high school diploma / GED or graduation from certified technical school, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience.
- Basic math skills
