Manager, Social Media

The Manager, Social Media is responsible for developing and executing AMC's social media presence across owned channels. This role translates strategic vision into actionable content plans, manages day-to-day operations of social platforms, and ensures all activity aligns with brand objectives. The position requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a deep understanding of social's role within the broader marketing ecosystem.

This position is based in Leawood, KS and is not eligible for relocation.

Responsibilities

• Execute social strategies across all owned channels, identifying opportunities for activation and optimization.
• Ensure all social content supports brand goals and objectives.
• Develop original content and leverage user-generated content to foster AMC's brand voice.
• Identify storytelling opportunities to engage audiences.
• Manage the social media calendar, balancing evergreen campaigns and promotional initiatives.
• Use insights and data to optimize content performance.
• Manage project requests from internal partners and collaborations with content creators.
• Coordinate content scheduling and publishing across platforms.
• Provide creative ideas, lead brainstorms, and manage creative production when needed.
• Monitor and report on the performance of evergreen campaigns and promotional initiatives.
• Generate monthly reports with insights and actionable recommendations.
• Track progress against goals, objectives, and Key Performance Metrics (KPMs).
• Manage external agency partners for community management.
