Structural engineering firm is seeking a hard-working candidate that is willing to roll up their sleeves and put in some hours.

We are seeking an AutoCAD Drafter who will produce residential plot plan designs. The perfect candidate will have residential drafting experience.

At a minimum, drafting in AutoCAD and in the residential construction industry for one year is preferred. We can train you the rest of the way.

The right candidate :

• Must be proficient in AutoCAD
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word
• Must have residential design and construction knowledge
• Have strong math skills
• Have strong spatial reasoning ability
• Able to read building plans
• Have effective written and verbal communication skills
• Can perform repetitive designs autonomously and quickly with extreme attention to detail
• Can work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Has the ability and desire to work overtime
• Is a positive team player with great attitude

Experience :

AutoCAD : 1 year (Required)

We provide the office with an extensive snack bar and automated coffee machine. In addition to an awesome work environment, we equip every member of our office with cutting-edge technology, utilizing mechanical keyboards and gaming mice to increase speed and efficiency, and we have ergonomic stations and supply any tools required to get the job done.

We also provide 80 hours of PTO that renews each year. Additionally, we pay 100% of health, dental and vision for the employee.

We like to have a good time and hang out as an office family, but we also like to get stuff done, and we are looking for someone who can fit into our office culture.

This is full-time and in-person position. We serve a somewhat niche market and need a candidate who can come into the office daily to learn about our industry and clientele in order to properly assist our team and clients, and get up to speed as quickly as possible.

$20-$25 / hour (salary commensurate with experience)
