Responsibilities
This position will provide technical, hands-on, engineering and project management support for manufacturing processes, automated prodution equipment and infrastructure.
Support quality, production and safety goals by determining root causes and eliminating / diminishing ocrruences of defect in manufacturing processes.
Analyze and design lean manufaucturing cells using effective systems and simulation tools to optimize use of space, equipment, material and personnel.
Maintain and troubleshoot multi-discipline machine technology to include mechanical, electrical, controls, PLCs, vision systems and drives.
Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (BA / BS) in Engineering with 5 years experience in manufacturing environment.
Strong project management and organizational skills with you proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
Experience with lean manufacturing and six sigma concepts is a plus.
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Excellent analytical skills and ability to multi-task
