The Logistics Technology and Process Engineer will partner with transportation and operations planning, program management, supply chain technology, and IT teams to ensure the success of the logistics function through technology projects such as TMS upgrades, multi-carrier parcel implementation, fuel optimization initiatives, and digitizing ground expedite requests.
This position will implement logistics process improvement projects, solutions, and performance metrics with a focus on improving delivery and cost.
This position will learn various aspects of transportation planning, TMS system maintenance, program management also review logistics data to analyze network performance.
This position is eligible for relocation and requires a hybrid work arrangement based in Davidson, NC.
This position is eligible for a Hybrid work schedule (3 or more days onsite a week) and will be based out of our Davidson, NC location.
Responsibilities :
- Collect and analyze logistics data to measure network performance. Benchmark current inbound & outbound transportation and distribution networks and support business process changes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of these networks
- Leverage network performance analysis to problem solve (design, configure, and implement) gaps in business processes and solutions to support forthcoming technology upgrades.
- Review and analyze logistics processes to identify waste and develop, support, and or lead process improvement projects in the logistics department.
- Maintain configurations and data integrity in transportation management system (master data, service provider rates & commitments)
- Maintain TMS performance through planning center issue resolution and drive continuous improvement through system enhancements.
- Review and analyze data flow between logistics systems to ensure seamless transition of data during implementation of new technology solutions, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Partner with planners, supply chain technology, carriers, suppliers, and visibility partners to support execution of business processes with technology
- Share best practices across logistics operations on :
- Process design
- Program management
- KPI Reporting
Qualifications :
- 3+ years of experience with supply chain people leadership, transportation planning, analytics, program management, and cost improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, engineering, or data science
- Proficient knowledge of logistics concepts including procurement, transportation management, operations, freight payment, and freight claims.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to analyze and work to remove ambiguity with data
- Ability to develop and deliver creative and effective solutions
- Ability to successfully manage and deliver multiple complex projects
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation and communication skills
- Excellent relationship building skills
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office, Alteryx, Tableau, or similar analytics technology platforms
- Ability to travel up to 20%

Base Pay Range : $85,000-$135,000. Total compensation for this role will include an incentive plan.
