The Director of Learning Operations reports to the VP of Learning and is responsible for oversight of three key areas within the operation of CoreNet Global learning programs :
- Scheduling all virtual and in-person designation and professional development seminars
- Managing the related event logistics
- Oversight of the faculty program
The ideal person in this role will create supportive learning environments and communities for our members.
Additional areas of responsibility :
- Planning of designation and professional development learning events, both virtual and classroom-based.
- Responsible for global seminar scheduling, staffing, and Faculty selection.
- Ensure there is a pool of qualified faculty sufficient to staff all in-person and virtual events, globally.
- Responsible for management of faculty recognition program.
- Accountable for driving growth in learning event registrations globally in support of increased learning revenues.
- Provide on-site support for in-person seminars and host virtual seminars as needed.
- Develop and coordinates the delivery of strategic marketing plans to promote in-person and virtual seminars to designation program participants.
- Manage content revision schedules and support new learning content development.
- Ensure corporate partners and learning sponsors understand and receive the benefits they are contractually entitled to.
- Build relationships with companies who have the capacity and interest in providing complimentary seminar venues.
- Actively work with all CoreNet Global departments to promote increased membership, attendance at summits, local chapter learning events, increased academic relationships, designation candidacies, and registrations.
- Offer innovative and strategically creative ways to repurpose existing programs to help drive increased engagement and usage globally.

Qualifications :
This position requires a commute to our downtown, Atlanta HQ location. A hybrid schedule is currently available but may be subject to change.
Preference will be given to those with experience working in a Learning, Professional Development, Membership or Certification role within a professional association.
Previous experience in development and delivery of adult learning programs a plus.
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.). Preference will be given to those with an education-related degree or any degree related to adult learning.
- Minimum 4 years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven results exceeding goals in a member or customer-centric, results-driven environment.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with others outside of reporting authority to achieve shared goals.
- Advanced competency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience in hosting / producing Zoom meetings with multiple breakout rooms.
- Proficiency with Association Management Systems or Customer Relationship Management databases.
- Demonstrated ability to proof-read, edit, and write in a style appropriate to business communications with attention to detail.
- High degree of emotional intelligence and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated track record in the development, management and execution of successful professional programs which include a professional designation program.
- Strong facilitative leadership skills, including the ability to encourage initiative and cooperation among staff, members and volunteer leaders.
- Professional communication skills (including verbal, non-verbal, written and presentation) and active listening skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented, hands-on environment and work effectively under pressure; meet deadlines;
organize and prioritize multiple tasks with attention to detail and maintain a flexible approach to changing priorities and methods.
