Job Title : AWS and On-Prem DevOps EngineerJob Description : The AWS and On-Prem DevOps Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining AWS and on-premises infrastructure, including RedHat OpenShift Container Platform.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of AWS and on-premise infrastructure, Linux administration, networking, and experience with containerization and DevOps tools.
Responsibilities : Manage and maintain AWS infrastructure, including EC2 instances, S3 buckets, and RDS databasesDesign and implement on-premises infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networkingManage and administer RedHat OpenShift Container Platform in on-premises environmentsTroubleshoot and resolve AWS and on-premises infrastructure issuesMonitor AWS and on-premises infrastructure for performance and securityWork with developers and other engineers to design and implement new features and servicesStay up-to-date on the latest AWS, on-premises, and DevOps technologiesCollaborate with development teams on containerization and vulnerability remediationSet up and manage authentication, authorization, and access controlConfigure and manage networking within the clusterConfigure and manage storage for stateful workloadsMaintain and upgrade OpenShift clustersManage and administer Elasticsearch clustersBuild and administer Apache / Confluent Kafka messaging platformDevelop and maintain CI / CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitLabManage GitLab version control systemAdminister PostgreSQL databasesInstall and manage monitoring tools like Grafana and PrometheusImplement infrastructure as code and automationQualifications : Master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field5+ years of experience in AWS and on-premises infrastructureStrong understanding of AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, and VPCStrong understanding of Linux administrationStrong networking skillsExperience with RedHat OpenShift Container PlatformExperience with containerization tools like Docker and KubernetesExperience with DevOps tools like Jenkins, GitLab, and HelmExperience with scripting languages (e.
