• Previous OR Experience is Highly preferred \n\nDay to Day duties : \n\n+ Circulate and / or Scrub on all cases.\n\n+ Primarily, GEN, Ortho (Totals / Sports Medicine / Trauma), GYN, OB C-Sections, Urology, Podiatry, and Plastics.\n\n+ Service all age groups except neonates to two years.\n\n+ No dedicated Service line teams. All Associates are cross trained for all services.\n\n+ Giving breaks and / or providing additional supplies and sterile instruments as needed during operations.\n\n+ Assisting with Room turnover and restocking for next day's cases.\n\n+ Acting as an advocate for patient before, during and after surgery.\n\n4 OR Suites, 1 Urology suite, 1 GI suite\n\nApprox. 450-550+ cases per month\n\nSchedule : 36hrs / week - Days- Variable shifts per surgical volume and current unit needs.\n\nCall is required for all FT employees. 4-6 Shifts per month- Call in rotation with OR team\n\n30Min Callback radius required\n\nQualifications : \n\nIn addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified nursing candidates will need the following : \n
• Education Requirements \n\n+ Associates Degree in Nursing required; Nursing Diploma or by endorsement\n\n+ Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred\n\n+ Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates, preferred for experienced RNs\n
• Experience Requirements \n\n+ One year experience preferred\n\n+ Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty\n
• Licenses / Certification Requirements \n\n+ RN License required; Current state nursing licenses or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact\n
