What to Expect (Job Responsibilities) :

  • Lead the setup and implementation of cash, voucher, and in-kind distribution programs in emergency responses.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective program management and delivery.
  • Monitor market conditions and adjust program modalities as necessary to respond to changing circumstances.
  • Develop and document standard operating procedures for distribution processes in line with best practices.
  • Manage relationships with local partners and ensure compliance with donor regulations and program standards.

What is Required (Qualifications) :

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in international studies, economics, or a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in development program management and international relief.
  • Demonstrated experience with cash, voucher, and in-kind distributions in emergency settings.
  • Strong understanding of program design and proposal development related to cash and distribution programming.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and manage diverse teams.

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) :

  • Pre-certification in PMD Pro or equivalent program management certification.
  • Experience with USAID / BHA, FCDO, ECHO, and other humanitarian donor-funded programs.
  • Knowledge of Sphere standards and training in humanitarian response.
  • Previous experience working in insecure environments.
  • Commitment to obtaining internationally recognized qualifications in project or program management.
