What to Expect (Job Responsibilities) :
- Lead the setup and implementation of cash, voucher, and in-kind distribution programs in emergency responses.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective program management and delivery.
- Monitor market conditions and adjust program modalities as necessary to respond to changing circumstances.
- Develop and document standard operating procedures for distribution processes in line with best practices.
- Manage relationships with local partners and ensure compliance with donor regulations and program standards.
What is Required (Qualifications) :
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in international studies, economics, or a relevant field.
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in development program management and international relief.
- Demonstrated experience with cash, voucher, and in-kind distributions in emergency settings.
- Strong understanding of program design and proposal development related to cash and distribution programming.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively and manage diverse teams.
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) :
- Pre-certification in PMD Pro or equivalent program management certification.
- Experience with USAID / BHA, FCDO, ECHO, and other humanitarian donor-funded programs.
- Knowledge of Sphere standards and training in humanitarian response.
- Previous experience working in insecure environments.
- Commitment to obtaining internationally recognized qualifications in project or program management.
