Job Description
Cashiers are responsible for creating an efficient and friendly guest experience during the last phase of a customer's visit with Puetz Golf Superstores.
They are responsible for all transactions, while ensuring customers are 100% satisfied.
Cashiers Will Also :
- Create a friendly envorinoment for the customer, being sure to greet them appropriately and providing excellent customer service throughout the course of the transaction.
- Process information and merchandise through computer and POS register system in an efficient manner.
- Assure the completion of all POS transactions according to company policies and procedures.
- Adhere and enforce company policies, procedures and practices and support Puetz Golf Superstores loss prevention efforts.
- Assist with floor moves, housekeeping, display maintenance and restocking as becomes necessary.
- Listen to customer requests and relay to management.
- Perform any miscelanious duties as assigned by management.
Required Skills
- A positive attitude, excellent listening skills, and an understanding of guest needs.
- Customer service skills.
- The ability to communicate effectively and professionally with associates and customers.
- Knowledge and experience of processing information and merchandise via a computer and POS register system.
- Ability to master all equipment necessary to run the store.
- Freely access all areas of the store including sales floor, stock area and register with the ability to lift and / or move up to 35 pounds at any given time.
- Ability to work varied hours / days as business dictates.
