We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and strategic leader to join our executive team as the Permanent Vice-President of Human Resources.

This is an exceptional opportunity to make a significant impact and drive human resource and talent strategy across a growing organization.

The Vice President of Human Resources will report directly to the CEO and will play a critical role in the overall strategic direction of the company.

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of Human Resources, including talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits, compensation, compliance, and training and development.

Responsibilities :

1. Develop and execute HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.

2. Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues.

3. Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.

4. Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.

5. Nurture a positive working environment, maintaining high levels of organizational effectiveness and communication.

6. Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.

7. Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.

8. Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.

9. Lead the implementation of the company’s culture and values.

10. Provide strategic guidance and leadership for all aspects of the human resources function including talent acquisition, talent management, benefits, compensation, employee engagement, and employee development.

Qualifications :

1. Proven work experience as a VP of Human Resources or similar role.

2. Demonstrated competency in strategic planning and business development.

3. Experience in managing HR functions including talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, training, and development.

4. Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.

5. Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.

6. In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.

7. A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; a Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.

8. Professional HR certification, such as SHRM-CP, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level HR role.

9. Demonstrated ability to lead and develop HR department staff members.

10. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a deep commitment to developing a positive organizational culture.

11. Demonstrated ability to serve as a successful participant on the executive management team that provides company leadership and direction.

12. Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with the company Board of Directors.

13. Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Must include Excel and skills in database management and record keeping.
