Job Description : Network Engineer
Network Engineer
Apex Systems is looking for a qualified individual to fill an immediate opening for Network Engineer position. Please see the job description below for details of the role.
Responsibilities :
- Maintain client security and networking devices, upgrading as necessary.
- Provide support for other engineers on Palo Alto equipment / software.
- Cross-train in-house staff to share knowledge and workload.
- Collaborate with senior engineers on security / network deployments.
- Suggest and implement design changes as needed.
- Proactively review and maintain client infrastructure.
- Respond to emergency situations and troubleshoot production outages.
Essential knowledge and experience :
- Installing and supporting Palo Alto Security Appliances (minimum three years).
- Experience with Cisco and HP networking equipment.
- Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer 7-8 (PCNSE7-8) certification preferred
