Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated industrial Construction Project Manager- Owner's Rep to join their dynamic team.
As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating and managing large scale industrial construction projects for their firm.

Your responsibilities will include :
- Developing and managing large-scale project plans and project budgets.
- Creating detailed project schedules and overseeing resource allocation to ensure optimal execution. Top performers maintain a well-organized system for tracking project deliverables, timelines, communications and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
- You will conduct regular site inspections, review construction plans and specifications, identify potential risks, implement proactive measures to mitigate them and verify that all the work is performed to the highest quality and safety standards.
You will coordinate and oversee construction activities, ensuring adherence to project schedules and specifications.
- You will build strong, lasting relationships with team members, clients and stakeholders - acting as the primary point of contact.
- Provide regular updates and reports on project status, including milestones, budget updates, and any significant developments or risks.
You will conduct regular meetings to facilitate communication, address challenges and to meet project objectives.
- You will lead RPF, bid leveling and descoping processes, ensuring that all proposals meet project goals and financial constraints.
- You will liaise with architects, engineers, contractors and subcontractors to monitor construction progress, resolve issues and ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- You will carry out thorough project evaluations and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary corrective measures.
- You will provide leadership and guidance to the project team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Required skills and qualifications :
5+ years of relevant experience in industrial construction project management, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes and safety regulations
Excellent project management skills, including effective planning, organizing and prioritizing tasks.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents, including project blueprints and construction schematics.
Strong leadership and communication skills to manage project teams and stakeholders.
Proficiency in construction management software, project scheduling tools and cost estimation software.
Strong financial understanding and experience in project budgeting and cost control.
Preferred skills and qualifications
Relevant professional certification in project management or construction management, like Project Management Professional (PMP) or LEED certification.
Knowledge of risk management and budget management principles.
Knowledge of local construction regulations permits and approval processes.
Experience with construction contract negotiations and claims management.
