The Position :
We're looking for passionate Nurse Aides (NA) to help us with providing nursing care and services for residents, that include personal and restorative care and activities of daily living.
Ohana Nurse Aides (NAs) orient residents to the unit and facility : Bathroom, call system, shower schedule, and lanai / common areas;
introduces to residents at table; informs of meal schedule and snack times; and informs of activity calendar and where activities are held.
Nurse Aides (NAs) respond to resident calls, call bells, call lights, alarms immediately. Responds to family requests. Informs Charge Nurse when required.
Free Course Instruction with Full-time or Part-Time Employment :
- Course schedule to commence 10 / 26 / 24 or 11 / 4 / 24.
- Duration : 3 week Nurse Aide Training Program with 100 hours, in-person instruction
- Location : Healthcare Training & Career Consultants, 2130 North King St, Honolulu, Hawaii
- Course instruction provided by Healthcare Training & Career Consultants Inc.
- Work as a Nurse Aide will commence following program completion at The Villas, Honolulu, Hawaii.
Requirements :
- High School Diploma or equivalent. / Minimum age 18.
- Completion of Hawaii Nurse Aide Training Program.
- Scheduled Prometric exam within 120 days of hire.
- Current and valid 2 Step TB clearance and health review (can be done in-house).
