We are seeking a dynamic Senior Mechanical Engineer (Rotating and Packaged Equipment) to join our team. This position will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of rotating and packaged equipment.

Job Details
Responsibilities :
1. Design and develop rotating and packaged equipment, ensuring that all designs meet the required specifications and standards.
2. Conduct detailed mechanical design work including 3D modelling, simulations and design verification testing.
3. Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) on mechanical designs to ensure optimum performance and safety.
4. Design and develop hydraulic systems, ensuring that they are optimized for our manufacturing processes.
5. Work with the process design team to integrate rotating and packaged equipment into the overall manufacturing process.
6. Utilize Autodesk software to create detailed design plans and blueprints.
7. Oversee the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment such as centralized heat, gas, water, and steam systems.
8. Design dust collection systems and ensure that they are implemented effectively.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and other engineering disciplines.
10. Lead and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
11. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in technology to ensure that our manufacturing processes remain competitive.
Qualifications :
1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 6 years’ experience in a similar role, specifically with rotating and packaged equipment.
3. Proficient in the use of Autodesk software for 3D modelling and design.
4. Extensive experience in process design and the design of mechanical equipment.
5. Strong knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).
6. Proven experience with hydraulic systems.
7. Experience with the design and implementation of dust collection systems.
8. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
9. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
10. Ability to work well in a team and to lead and mentor junior engineers.
11. A commitment to continuous learning and staying current with industry trends and advancements.
