Job Description
The Supply Chain Business Operations Manager for APX / Astro is a key role to support one of the key backbones for Motorola Solutions.
In this role, you will be responsible for achieving supply chain results and ensuring customer orders are delivered on time. You will also :
Manage order prioritization to balance customer and business requirements
Coordinate and collaborate with planning, order management, purchasing, manufacturing, delivery, and quality teams
Provide a point of contact from the Supply Chain to the business organizations
Drive operations to achieve revenue, cost, cash, and customer delivery targets
Align supply chain operations with the business teams for accurate revenue and shipment forecasting
Communicate and manage supply chain risks
Develop business risk mitigation and continuity plans
Resolve critical customer and business issues
Ensure customer on-time delivery and minimize delinquent backlog
Preferred Skills :
Excellent communicator with strong business skills
Ability to set business targets and balance goals
Collaborate across organizations
Solve problems with an innovative approach
Manage in a matrix organization to achieve aggressive goals and high standards
Experience working in a Manufacturing environment preferred.
Basic Requirements
Required Skills :
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business, Communications, IT, Management, or Supply Chain required.
5 years of experience working as a Business Operations Manager, or in a Management role required.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
