Interim Medical Executive Director Needed in a Florida Mental Health Facility

The Position

• We are seeking an Interim Medical Executive Director to oversee medical and mental health services in a large mental health facility.
• This leader will report to the Chief Hospital Administrator.
• Responsibilities encompass stabilizing the department's workforce, forging robust partnerships with nursing personnel, and devising a strategic plan for medical staff development.
• Ideal candidates will demonstrate a positive professional demeanor, strong leadership skills, and the ability to maintain high standards of care.

Experience with clinical quality metrics and process improvement strategies will be critical.

Must be available to start within two to three weeks of acceptance.

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O required.
• Licensured as a physician, with at least two years of professional experience.
• CMS participant and CARF certificate required.
