If you are looking for the most intense and rewarding challenge of your career then read on DIRTT is seeking a CNC Operator to work in our Savannah Factory.
The successful candidate must be able to work a 4 days on, 4 days off, 12-hour shift rotation.
WHAT YOU’LL DO :
- Set-up and manage CNC machines to perform different jobs including drilling, grinding and milling
- Oversee the machines while they execute the tasks and make the necessary changes to produce improved results
- Package product safely and appropriately
- Learn and apply lean tools and methodologies
- Practice excellent general housekeeping, including but not limited to, work area, floor areas, benches and storage areas to ensure a safe work environment
- Inspection of finished units for adherence to documented quality standards
WHO YOU ARE :
- Experience on vertical / horizontal milling machines / HAAS / CNC lathes preferred
- Experience with programming is an asset
- You will have working knowledge of G-Codes and CNC Milling operations
- Must understand drawing interpretation, dimension checking and measurements
- Understand proper material handling techniques
- Be computer literate 3D software and excel are highly utilized programs here
- Be highly detail-oriented; conducting frequent & consistent quality checks is a must
- Have a strong track-record for being accountable and timely
- Have excellent communication skills
- Love working with others
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment,
- Live the importance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) & adhere to safety, requirements and inform the Supervisor of any unsafe situations.
