The Role :
We are looking for an adept Demand & Supply Planner who will be an integral part of our Inbound Operations team, responsible for analyzing sales data across multiple channels and geographies to initiate purchasing, support production planning, and optimize performance of inventory.
This role works closely with regional and global Sales & Operations teams to anticipate company-wide needs and achieve goal safety stock while minimizing purchasing risk.
Activities include forecasting, inventory management, risk assessment, and a variety of data analyses to continue driving the sustained and remarkable growth of Pixi & POP.
Key Responsibilities :
- Leverage historical sales data and forecasts to determine global demand at sku level
- Identify emerging trends, risks, and outliers to refine and protect replenishment timing
- Present recommended purchasing plan to upper management to maintain target stock levels
- Partner closely with internal teams to manage production timelines and on-time receipt of goods
- Work with global Account Managers to integrate future activity into demand plans and communicate with internal logistics to mobilize needs
- Present actionable data-driven solutions to mitigate out-of-stock risks and support overall business objectives for improving operational KPI’s
- Evolve existing processes and planning models to create new strategies for continual optimization of our purchasing cadence and management of aging inventory
- Provide regular and ad-hoc analyses and reports for internal teams and external partners as needed
Relevant Skills & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field and strong understanding of supply chain processes
- 3+ years experience in Demand / Supply Planning and Inventory Management, beauty experience a plus
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems
- Highly organized and data driven with superb attention to detail and accuracy
- Collaborative with exceptional problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communicator with ability to relay the appropriate level of detail or summarization given the audience and objective
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and quickly pivot between projects and tasks
