Monday - Friday 5 : 00 until complete

$23.45 / hr.

Delivery Professional Lead Position Description :

• Manages and coordinates the activities of the routing and delivery for several routes within the distribution center.
• Arranges for registrations and state inspections.
• Inspects and scheduling needed repair or service work.
• Coordinates operation and maintenance of equipment, storage facilities, and repair facilities.
• Directs recording of expenses and analyzes purchase and repair costs to control expenditures.
• Plan and direct safety campaigns.
• Professionally and safely delivering orders to our customers as well as product to other McKesson locations
• Loading and unloading the product from a van or a straight box truck
• Familiarity with DOT guidelines and regulations
• Drives a cargo van or straight box truck up to 26,000 pounds to cover routes as needed.

Preferred Requirements :

• 2+ years experience in a parcel van or straight truck delivery vehicle, preferred
• 4+ years transportation experience and demonstrated leadership skills
• 4+ years managing direct reports
• Experience utilizing Microsoft Office programs

Minimum Requirements :

• 6 months of experience driving straight truck or larger
• Current Valid US Driver's License with DOT Medical Card
• Ability to maintain a safe driving history
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must successfully complete and be able to maintain requirements of physical set by DOT

Physical Requirements :

• General Office Demands
• Position includes standing, sitting, walking in a warehouse environment
• Must be able to carry and operate a laptop

Critical Skills :

• Demonstrated excellent verbal skills
• 4+ years working within DOT regulated area

Other Skills :

• Extremely organized
• Clear and concise communicator with internal and external customers
• Ability to utilize Advanced Transportation Technology
• Critical decision-making skills
• Experience with transportation financials
• Strong leadership abilities
• Knowledge of Tulsa, OK and surrounding areas.
