Job Summary
Responsible for the timely and accurate billing of downstream natural gas sales and purchases primarily associated with NAESB contracts.
Determines the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable amounts associated with downstream marketing transactions. Prepares the monthly accruals for these transactions, including calculation of the weighted average sales price (WASP).
Prepares reports to Marketing leadership reflecting financial and commercial operations results. Participates in user testing and business implementation of approved modifications.
Performs routine and structured work assignments. Contributes to tasks within a team, function, or work group. Basic knowledge of processes for the assigned work.
Exercises limited independent judgment, relying on instructions and pre-established guidelines. Works under direct supervision.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for processing and maintaining NAESB agreements in a contract database.
Prepares and distributes sales and purchase confirmations to counterparties.
Responsible for invoicing counterparties for sales and / or purchases in accordance with
contract terms.
Prepares Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable amounts for distribution to various
departments.
Calculates weighted average sales price (WASP) by pipeline / market area.
Prepares accruals for prior month production. Provides analysis and explanations for the
variances between accruals and actuals.
Monitors downstream transportation contracts to determine proper reporting for gas.

Performs financial analysis related to contracts and / or pricing as requested.
Maintains existing reports and develops new reports to reflect financial and commercial.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Marketing, or similar field from an accredited college or university.
A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience (preferably in Oil and Gas Marketing).
An acceptable pre-employment drug screen and background check
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of downstream oil and gas marketing transactions
Commodity trading system experience
SQL proficiency
Advanced Excel skills
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Requires prolonged sitting, some bending, and stooping.
Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
Manual dexterity is sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
