What you will be doing

Albertsons seeks to modernize our brand and transform the way in which Marketing impacts and drives growth for the organization.

We have world class national marketing capabilities and scale, that we need to leverage to increase customer and brand-led strategy, marketing effectiveness and efficiency.

The Creative Director at Albertsons Companies will lead the creative vision for the company's marketing and branding efforts.

This role requires a dynamic and innovative leader who can inspire and guide a team of creative professionals to deliver compelling and effective marketing campaigns that align with the company's brands, goals and values.

Main responsibilities

Key Responsibilities :

  • Ensure all creative work aligns with the company's brand purpose, values and guidelines.
  • Develop and execute the creative vision and strategy for Albertsons Companies' marketing and branding efforts.
  • Lead creative development for the brand, primarily on omnichannel 360 campaigns including digital, print, in-store and multimedia content.
  • Lead customer-led and brand-led creative vision across all content and channels (owned, earned and paid).
  • Lead and mentor a team of creative professionals, including designers and copywriters.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Brand Planning, Integrated Marketing, Content Marketing, CRM, Personalization, Shopper Experience to ensure cohesive and effective campaigns.
  • Ensure all creative work is on-brief and on time.
  • Be a key contributor to our technology enhancement by creating a vision to drive our content tech stack and product roadmap.
  • Be a key contributor to how creative can be a critical component of our Personalization experimentation plans.
  • Stay curious and continuously improve through ongoing creative AB testing
  • Inspire and collaborate with key Division partners to ensure ongoing brand adoption.
  • Inspire our agency partners, independent contractors, vendors and content creators to develop world class brands and creative thinking.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices to continually improve the creative process and output.

The salary range is $150,000.00 to $190,000.00 annually. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications.

There may be flexibility for exceptional candidates.

What we are searching for

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Creative Director or in a similar creative leadership role. Creative leadership in the retail industry a plus.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a strategic and customer-led creative idea and execution for a 360 omnichannel campaign.
  • Strong expertise and management of AB testing to continually improve creativity in digital channels.
  • Showcasing a strong range of creative expertise across digital and print tactics in-store retail environments critical.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively to solve complex problems.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in design software and tools.
