What you'll do here :

Provide strategic event management expertise to stakeholders from planning through event execution and follow-up.

Lead all aspects of events and trade shows / conventions from launch to follow-up

Manage event budget, including negotiating lower costs.

Provide logistical support to team members as needed, ranging from meeting food orders to registration site and customer satisfaction survey set-ups

Based on project, specific duties could include :

Site research, selection and contract negotiations

Create and maintain online registration site (using Cvent)

Arrange and monitor travel group with American Express Travel

Maintain attendee registration data and the housing list

Organize and communicate logistics for A / V, internet, sleeping rooms, equipment rental, parking, air and ground transportation, food and beverage, etc.

Travel to Live Events top provide onsite management as needed.

Skills You Will Need Here :

Basic (Required) :

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in an event role

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

1-3 Years of event / contract planning.

1-3 Years contract negotiation experience.

1-2 years of using events to drive Brand Awareness, Demand Generation and Sales Enablement

Exceptional project management skills with extreme attention to detail

Ability to multitask to meet deadlines, without breaking a sweat

Ability to work independently and with a sense of urgency

Positive attitude and ability to learn

Ability to travel 5 to 8 times per year.

Requires proficiency with MS Office and Office 365 and a mastery of Excel.

Preferred

Strong understanding of events impact on marketing funnel and sales pipeline

Experience with Event Technology (Cvent or similar) and Project Management technology (Workfront or similar)

The full base pay range has been provided for this position. Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location.

Sales roles often incorporate a significant incentive compensation program beyond this base pay range.
