The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental science with specific expertise in sediment analysis and wetlands research.
Experience working with stormwater engineering teams is highly desirable. This position will involve approximately 80% on-site work and 20% travel within the Texas area, ranging from one-day trips to multi-day assignments.
Responsibilities : Conduct sediment analysis and research on environmental wetlands.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support stormwater engineering projects.
Design and implement field studies and sampling plans.Analyze data and prepare technical reports and presentations.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff members.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and environmental standards. Requirements : Bachelor's or master's degree in environmental science, ecology, or a related field.
3-8+ years of experience in sediment analysis and research of environmental wetlands.Previous experience working with stormwater engineering teams is a huge plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel up to 20%, with trips ranging from one day to multiple days at a time.Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
