Job description
We are seeking an Acoustics Simulation Engineer to become a part of our team in the Redmond, WA state! The role requires deep understanding and experience in transducers and acoustics systems.
You should be familiar with simulation basics using lumped-parameter and FEA in general, and COMSOL tool specifically. You will get to work with the latest technology and innovations available on the market, in a very exciting and rewarding environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- COMSOL Multiphysics.
- Physics-based modeling / simulation.
- Mathematical modeling (nice to have).
- Knowledge of programming : Python, MATLAB, etc.
- Experience with verification and validation studies.
- Understanding of wave-based physics & acoustics.
- Basic knowledge of numerical methods including finite elements, boundary elements, finite difference, etc.
Basic qualifications
- Minimum bachelor’s in computer science or equal.
- Experience developing transducers for high-fidelity loudspeakers, headphones and earphones.
- Expertise in lumped-parameter, FEA, and BE modeling of electroacoustic, magnetics, and mechanics.
- Expertise in standard methods for specifying and evaluating audio transducers and acoustics systems.
- Knowledge of wave propagation, surface acoustic waves, and non-linear acoustics Competency in statistics.

We offer
The annual salary range for this role is $80,000 $250,000 per year.
The Annual Salary depends upon various job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs, and market demand.
This range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
