Position Overview : As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in our client’s finance team, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, maintaining vendor relationships, and supporting various financial tasks.
This role offers the opportunity for professional growth, a flexible schedule, and the chance to contribute to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities :
Process over 300 invoices weekly utilizing various payment methods such as check, ACH, and wire transfers.
Reconcile vendor statements monthly to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Prepare accounts payable reports and assist with month-end close activities.
Generate journal entries and accruals to accurately reflect financial transactions.
Collaborate on special projects as assigned, contributing to process improvements and efficiency.
Support the yearly audit process by providing necessary documentation and assistance as required.
Requirements :
Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience in finance or accounting.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in accounts payable.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and vlookups.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Professional demeanor with a keen business acumen and attention to detail.
