Looking for a skilled prep cook who is willing to learn new things and evolve with us as a restaurant. This will be a high-volume restaurant in the Scottsdale Quarter.
There will be butchery, pasta making, various vegetable preps, and doughs involved in your daily duties. Basic knowledge of products and techniques is required.
There will also be more modern techniques being used if interested in learning. There is also a lot of potential for growth with us as we are an established restaurant group expanding to the Phoenix area so if you are passionate about food and learning apply now!
Compensation : $15 - $18 hourly

Responsibilities :
- Butchering and portioning any proteins that we will need for service
- Properly storing all proteins received
- Making fillings and doughs for various pasta dishes
- Rolling and / or filling pastas and properly storing
- Doing any daily veg work we may need
- Helping keep the walk-in clean and organized
- Making any other various doughs we may be needing
- Preparing various stocks and sauces
- Work closely with management to maintain recipes
Qualifications :
- Must have a food handlers certificate
- Follows instructions well
- Good communication skills
- Team player
- Passionate about food
- Must have a basic knowledge of products
- Have at least 2 years of experience
- Willingness to learn new things
- Wants to grow with the restaurant
