Job Summary :

The Maintenance Sanitation Helper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the facility.

This role includes cleaning machine equipment, assisting in equipment maintenance, and ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for all employees and visitors.

The position also involves supporting the maintenance team and adhering to health and safety regulations.

Supervisory Responsibilities :

None.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities :

• Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of production areas, restrooms, break rooms, and other facility spaces.
• Assist in cleaning and maintaining equipment, tools, and machinery to ensure proper functioning.
• Follow sanitation procedures and safety guidelines to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Help with waste management, including sorting and proper disposal of waste materials.
• Report maintenance or safety issues promptly to the supervisor.
• Support the maintenance team with tasks such as equipment repairs and inventory management.
• Participate in training sessions and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in sanitation or maintenance roles is a plus.
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment and supplies is beneficial.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and sanitation standards.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.

Education and Experience :

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in sanitation or maintenance roles is a plus.

Physical Requirements :

• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
• Ability to work in various physical positions, including standing, kneeling, and crouching for extended periods.
• Willingness to work in indoor and outdoor environments, subject to weather conditions.
