Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer of a logistics company focused on courier, final mile, brokerage, truckload, oversized freight, warehousing, and medical delivery in the Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston markets.

A business established for over 40 years : they have over 250 drivers with a combination of independent contractors and company drivers, generating over $30 million a year, with 50 office employees.

The Sales Executive is responsible for the selling of regional On-Demand and Courier business. They will be tasked with hunting for new business, and growing a portfolio of customers long term.

They will have the chance to cross sell multiple modes of transportation. This individual must have a sales process from prospect all the way to customer account management, build relationships, sell to pain points, and be a champion for the company.

Managing a pipeline is critical to the success of this individual, as well as creating solutions, negotiations, and pricing profitable business.

Their mission is to increase revenue, while optimizing costs, and maximizing profitability.

Background Required :

  • Transportation Sales (2 years)
  • Courier Transportation (On-Demand)
  • Ability to meet and exceed sales quotas ($500,000 to $1 million)
  • Computer literate : Microsoft Suite and CRM
  • Education : High School Degree
  • Residence : Dallas / Ft Worth, TX Metro (Arlington, TX)

Background Preferred (but not required) :

  • Existing book of business free of non-compete restrictions
  • Medical courier
  • Warehousing, Heavy Haul, Full Truckload, Final Mile
  • Bi-Lingual : Spanish
  • Bachelor’s Degree
