Structures Mechanic

Job Description :

• 5 years of experience working on aircraft final assembly and system installation.
• Perform modification to convert corporate aircraft into military spy aircraft.
• Inspect, identify, and repair aircraft parts, components, and systems located in close-out areas.
• Assemble and install aircraft components, for example, fitted parts, sheet metal assemblies, component racks and batteries, and crew and slave equipment.
• Complete aircraft paperwork and prepare aircraft for turn to flight.
• Assist with jacking and moving aircraft and / or equipment to next station.
• Analyze hydraulic fluid for contamination on applicable aircraft models and ground support equipment.
• Support other areas in functional testing, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical components as problems arise.
• Modify aircraft systems and airframe in accordance to engineering specifications.
• Knowledge of mechanical aircraft systems.

Responsibilities :

• Read and interpret engineering documents.
• Knowledge operating ground support equipment.
• Read and understand system schematics.
• Operate ground support equipment to simulate ground and flight conditions.
• Knowledge of safety and operating procedures for power-on aircraft.
• You are able to obtain and renew certifications / CFC certification.
• You are able to troubleshoot, modify, and / or repair mechanical aircraft systems and airframe.
• Environment : Flight Test Center : Non-Climate Controlled Hangar.

Pay :

• $37 / hour $44 / hour
• Pay is based on years of experience.

Work Schedule :

Must be open to 1

and weekend Shift.

Shift : Monday Friday : 6 : 30 AM 3 : 00 PM

Shift : Monday Friday : 1 : 00 PM 11 : 30 PM

Weekend : Friday Sunday : 6 : 30 AM 6 : 30 PM
