The Information Technology Manager will provide people management and technical leadership for a team of highly-skilled server, storage and backup technicians and engineers in support of a new, large multi-national customer.
Ensure that the customer compute and storage environment is maintained to industry standards of availability and performance and ensure data integrity is maintained and protected.
Work closely with the program director to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

What We Need & What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
- Lead, manage and motivate a team of server, storage and backup technicians and engineers (some local, some remote) to ensure a high quality of support to the customer.
- Provide technical and business knowledge to problem solving, installation / upgrade planning and reporting.
- Act as focal point into the Infrastructure Delivery organization for the program director and the customer, driving continuous improvement and the introduction of new or improved processes and technologies.
- Drive efficiencies and manage controllable costs through continuous improvement efforts, shift-left efforts to move activities to less-skilled techs, automation of repetitive tasks and ensuring that all hours charged are appropriate.
- Provide mentoring, leadership and training to the team by ensuring timely and detailed performance feedback, sharing decision-making processes, making sure training plans are well-designed and then acted on and driving performance improvement plans for low performers.
Who You Are (Qualifications)
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or other related fields
- 7+ years of expereince in the information technology space including technical problem solving of various software and hardware issues
- Proven Management experience and communication skills
- Ability to identify and implement changes and improvements that accomplish long-range objectives
- P&L Financial Management
- Proven ability to organize multiple projects, schedules and meet shifting priorities
- Strong background in at least 2 of the following :
EMC storage - Solaris - Windows Server Mgmt - Linux
ITIL Foundation preferred
