Piper Companies is looking for an AV Technician to join an IT services and consulting company. This is fully onsite job in Washington DC near Union Station.
Multi-year W2 contract with benefits available and possibility for conversion to direct employee.
Essential Duties of the AV Technician :
- Set up and configure AV equipment for meetings, presentations, and events.
- Troubleshoot AV equipment issues, including projectors, microphones, and video conferencing systems.
- Assist users with IT-related problems in a timely and courteous manner.
- Track and manage inventory of IT and AV equipment, including performing regular audits.
Qualifications of the AV Technician :
- 1-2+ years of technical support experience.
- B.S. in Information Technology, Computer Science, and a related field.
- Familiarity with audio-visual technology and equipment is preferred.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking principles.
