Position Summary : Oversee requirements and operations onsite for student training mission support of the Drivers Training Support Services (DTSS) at the FLETC.
Requirements :
- Minimum of three (3) years of consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years.
- Proficient in oral and written communications in English.
- Utilize a computer to communicate via e-mail, retrieve reports and provide reports.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Possess supervisory certification, courses or previous supervisor positions held.
- May not perform professional duties associated with other work, contracts, or engagements.
Essential Functions : Responsible for planning and executing projects, leading the team, and managing resources and budgets.
They ensure timely delivery by monitoring progress, managing risks, and solving problems. Communicates with stakeholders, ensures quality standards are met, and provides regular updates.
Maintain documentation, oversee project closure, and apply lessons learned for continuous improvement.
- Split 24 / 7 on-call duties / schedule with Alternate Project Manager (APM).
- Ensure all requirements and services are in compliance with Company and Government regulations, procedures, and processes.
- Liaison between Company and Government including coordination, scheduling, management, and administration.
- Ability to receive & resolve complaints and issues from customer and employees.
- Execute project plans, including scope, timelines, and budget details.
- Lead and manage project teams, ensuring clear communication and role allocation.
- Monitor project progress, performance, and risk, making adjustments as necessary.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders, providing updates and addressing concerns.
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards through effective quality control processes.
- Oversee project closure, including final documentation and lessons learned for future improvement
Physical Demands and Work Environment : While performing the duties of this position, the IC is regularly required to talk, listen, and write.
The IC frequently is required to use foot / ankle motions, hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
The IC is required to stand, walk, sit; and reach with hands and arms. The IC must occasionally lift and / or move up to 25 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
