Piper Companies is hiring an Account Manager on the IT staffing team our Columbia, MD office. We are a rapidly growing staffing firm where you will be able to make an immediate impact on our business and earn generous, uncapped commission up to 20% of spread!
Responsibilities of the Account Manager :
- Build new business relationships with potential clients in the IT vertical.
- Sell Piper / ZP staffing services (using a variety of methods, both virtual and in-person) to hiring managers.
- Guide and lead your recruiting team on best practices for identifying talent, and screen recruiter submissions to job requisitions prior to sharing with clients.
- Act as the face of the company in the Maryland staffing market.
- Utilize various Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Applicant Tracking System (ATS), and sales / staffing tools like Salesforce, TargetRecruit, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Bloomberg Government, Dice, Monster, to generate a pipeline and territory, set meetings with prospective clients, negotiating prices and services, and more.
Qualifications of the Account Manager :
- 1+ year of experience performing new business development in an agency staffing environment
- Desire and ability to develop new business rather than exclusively manage accounts (you will not be handed a book of business / existing accounts)
- Competitiveness and drive to succeed in a metrics-driven, commission-earning environment
- Willingness to work on-site in our Columbia office 3 days per week (100% or predominantly remote candidates will not be considered)
- Experience with CRM or ATS systems such as Salesforce, TargetRecruit, Bullhorn, JobDiva, iCIMS, or others
Compensation & Benefits for the Account Manager :
- Salary Range : $65,000-$70,000 / year (depending on experience level) - potential flexibility for candidates with 3+ years of demonstrable new business development success in an IT or Life Sciences agency staffing environment
- Commission : Uncapped (tiered plan; more spread higher commission percentage; max payout tier of 20%)
- Quarterly & annual contest bonuses
