DescriptionSummary : Provides basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff and ensures patient safety and well-being.Responsibilities :
- Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies : Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
- Answering patient calls and helping patients with eating, bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Feeding patients, measuring, and recording their food and liquid intake.
- Monitoring and documenting patients' temperature, blood pressure, and other vital signs and reporting changes to nurses or doctors.
- Assisting nurses or doctors with medical procedures and dressing wounds.Requirements : High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
1 year of experience required. 3 5 years of experience preferred. BLS required. National PCT Certification (includes Phlebotomy and EKG) preferred.
